Medigus received an interim report from Professor Johannes Zacherl from the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, following a one month follow-up of 6 procedures performed at the University on June 2008.
According to the report, all patients who underwent the SRS procedure are functioning well, are not suffering from any heartburn symptoms, and their satisfaction from the procedure is extremely high.
The report also confirms that 5 patients completely halted any intake of GERD medication, while the last patient ceased from consuming GERD medication shortly prior to the medical review at the end of the one-month follow-up period.
