Overview

Medigus offers the world's smallest micro cameras. The current offering includes a new revolutionary disposable CMOS camera, which has an outer diameter of only 1.2mm x 5mm long and is by far the smallest camera in the world. In addition the company offers reusable CCD cameras in two sizes: 3.0mm x 3.0mm and 1.8mm x 1.8mm.

Offering excellent image quality, the cameras are suitable for various visualization and inspection tasks including medical, industrial and security applications. The cameras are ready for integration into various types of visualization and inspection devices, such as medical endoscopes, industrial endoscopes (sometimes called technical endoscopes or borescopes), devices for Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), devices Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Machine Vision systems etc.

Medigus' CCD cameras are being used by over 100 organizations around the world, including major players in the medical device industry, major industrial companies as well as leading universities and research institutes.

Each camera system includes a video processor and a micro camera head with high quality optics. All cameras are the proprietary technology of Medigus and are assembled solely at the company’s facilities.

Medigus also offers a service of designing and manufacturing endoscopes based on its cameras and other proprietary technologies.

Applications for the micro cameras include:
1. Medical Endoscopy – for both flexible and rigid endoscopes.
Applications include: gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, urology, gynecology, ENT, ERCP arthroscopy, laparoscopy etc.
2. Industrial endoscopy, Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Machine Vision etc.

		New! Medigus now offers a 2mm-diameter device into which the 1.2mm micro camera is integrated with LED illumination

1.2mm Camera integrated with LED illumination solution. The LEDprobe is a 2mm-diameter rigid endoscope which includes a 1.2mm camera in the distal tip of the device and a large LED that is located in the handle of the device. This camera-plus-illumination solution has a stainless steel shaft, which is 95mm-long or 130mm-long. The illumination is led through the shaft towards the distal tip of the device (where the camera is located) via fiber-for-illumination. The LED is powered by the video processor and there is no need for an external battery.
