Overview

Medigus offers the world's smallest micro cameras. The current offering includes a new revolutionary disposable CMOS camera, which has an outer diameter of only 1.2mm x 5mm long and is by far the smallest camera in the world. In addition the company offers reusable CCD cameras in two sizes: 3.0mm x 3.0mm and 1.8mm x 1.8mm.

Offering excellent image quality, the cameras are suitable for various visualization and inspection tasks including medical, industrial and security applications. The cameras are ready for integration into various types of visualization and inspection devices, such as medical endoscopes, industrial endoscopes (sometimes called technical endoscopes or borescopes), devices for Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), devices Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Machine Vision systems etc.

Medigus' CCD cameras are being used by over 100 organizations around the world, including major players in the medical device industry, major industrial companies as well as leading universities and research institutes.

Each camera system includes a video processor and a micro camera head with high quality optics. All cameras are the proprietary technology of Medigus and are assembled solely at the company’s facilities.

Medigus also offers a service of designing and manufacturing endoscopes based on its cameras and other proprietary technologies.

Applications for the micro cameras include:
1. Medical Endoscopy – for both flexible and rigid endoscopes.
Applications include: gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, urology, gynecology, ENT, ERCP arthroscopy, laparoscopy etc.
2. Industrial endoscopy, Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Machine Vision etc.

Endoscopy Suites



Medigus manufactures a wide array of endoscopic suites, supporting a variety of fully designated and standard endoscopic tools. The endoscopic suites function as the controllers of the respective endoscope or tool. The features of each endoscopic suite are implemented based on the customer's specifications and the desired medical applications, while maintaing a standard similar to that used for other endoscopy suites in the industry. Endoscopic suites will usually comprise of a Camera Control Unit (CCU) and an Irrigation/Insufflation, Suction and Light (ISL) console. The latter comprises xenon light source and pumps for suction and irrigation. Medigus' unique design of endoscopic suites may include additional features such as its ultrasonic range finder and related sensors.
